Once Upon A Time Part 1 of the Season 2 Finale Recap & Review!

Hey everyone!
Well, to say I was shocked is an understatement. Since Season 1 of Once Upon A Time we all thought Rumplestiltskin's son Baelfire was Peter Pan...alas, I still don't know if we were wrong. Baelfire aka Neal in fact has been to Neverland, but only b/c he was saving one of Wendy Darling's brothers from being taken there by "The Shadow". Bae doesn't step foot on Neverland, but makes "The Shadow" drop him into the ocean before reaching land. We then see Captain Hook getting him out of the water. I think there is a possibility that Bae will become Peter Pan to save Neverland & take control of the shadow. Now, in present time Storybrooke Greg & Tamara are torturing Regina/The Evil Queen and nearly killing her. They are determined to destroy magic. Neal/Baelfire sees his father Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin & Lacey (formerly Belle) hurting Dr. Whale/Dr. Frankenstein, stops him, & basically tells his father that he has once again given up on him ever changing his ways. Mary Margaret/Snow & David/Prince Charming go to Rumplestiltskin to cash in on the favor owed to Charming by being given a way to find Regina. Lacey hears everything, realizing that Rumple really has magic, talks to him about being immortal, & if he could make her immortal. Snow, Charming, Emma, & Neal all run into each other when they finally track down where Regina is being held and then split up to find her. Snow & Charming find Greg with Regina, but end up having to let Greg escape while they rush Regina off to Mother Superior/The Blue Fairy to be healed. Meanwhile Emma & Neal are attacked by Tamara, Neal is shot, Tamara opens a portal with a magic bean and escapes, & then while holding onto Emma's hand Emma & Neal tell one another that they still love each other...and Neal lets go, disappearing into who knows where. At the end of the episode Regina tells Snow & Charming that Tamara & Greg have the trigger switch to end Storybrooke.

All in all this episode was amazing & I can't wait to see what happens in Part 2 of the Season 2 Finale. :D ~V

Iron Man 3 Review, Free Comic Book Day Haul, & STAR WARS DAY!

Hey everyone! Happy Saturday! Today I have a few things I want to talk about. I just saw Iron Man 3 yesterday so here's my vlog & below that is my full review of it.

Firstly, I want to give props to all those involved in making another great Marvel film! Especially to our Tony Stark/Iron Man Robert Downey Jr along with Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Jon Favreau, Guy Pierce, Ben Kingsley, Rebecca Hall, & Ty Simpkins.

The movie takes place basically following right after The Avengers. Tony is dealing with a lot of anxiety attacks over everything that happened in New York. He desperately wants to keep the one person he loves more than anything safe and that's Pepper. Aldrich Killian, a man he formerly alienated against him creates "The Mandarin" as his puppet for all his evil deeds. Killian, with the aid of Mya, a former New Year's Eve fling of Tony's is responsible for using something Tony came up with to create these "Super Soldiers" that burn & regenerate really fast. They even sometimes set off as bombs. Killian eventually takes Pepper hostage & starts to experiment on her with Extremis. With the aid of the VP the President is taken captive and nearly killed. Tony & Rhodes eventually save the day with the aid of tons of Iron Man suits. In the end Tony has Pepper fixed up and that Extremis stuff removed from her body. Tony then has surgery to get the shrapnel out of his chest that got there in the first Iron Man movie. The scene after the credits is pretty fun. We see Tony telling his story to Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Bruce nodded off basically in the beginning & tells Tony he's not a shrink...it's not in his temperament. Tony shrugs it off and starts telling him another story.

Who besides me found Stan Lee in the movie?! Gotta love all of his cameos in the Marvel films!

Also, today is Free Comic Book Day & I thought I'd share my comic book haul that I got.
Free Comic Book Day happens every May, so if y'all didn't go this year please check it out next year. To find out more info go to http://freecomicbookday.com

Oh & one more thing! Today is also Star Wars Day...you know what that means? Star Wars Marathon time!

MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! :D ~V

When I met Jamie Campbell Bower aka Jace from The Mortal Instruments!

Hey everyone!
Today I thought I'd tell the story behind this posed photo of Jamie Campbell Bower that I took & my photo with him. I met him two times back in 2010 here in Baton Rouge, Louisiana while he was filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Parts 1 & 2. The first time was at the Eclipse DVD signing at Best Buy where all I really got to do was say hey, get him to sign my DVD, & ask him to pose for a photo. The second time was even more exciting! I got a call from some friends that a lot of The Twilight Saga cast were eating sushi at Tsunami downtown so I immediately headed over there. Upon arriving my friends & I kept our distance until Jamie Campbell Bower came out with wine in hand for a smoke. I slowly walked up to him and asked if I could get a photo with him. He was very kind and said yes in his sexy British accent. We were having such an abnormally cold winter that year. Can you each tell how cold we look in the photo? Hahaha! Anyways, after the photo we talked a bit about Twilight, his role in Harry Potter, & even his show Camelot (RIP). While talking to him the burning question I wanted to ask was about if the rumors were true that he was going to play Jace in The Mortal Instruments. I didn't ask him, but during our quick chat I truly felt that I'd met our future Jace! Now, a few years later, he is! He's kind, funny, charming, & hot! I can't wait to see him on the big screen as Jace! ;)

MTV Exclusive: Meet Godfrey Gao aka Magnus Bane On The Set Of 'Mortal Instruments'

Meet Magnus Bane On The Set Of 'Mortal Instruments': "There's actually a really big pressure because I know there are a lot of fans out there, and everyone loves Magnus Bane," Godfrey Gao says of playing Magnus Bane from the set of "Mortal Instruments." "It's really cold," Godfrey said, all smiles. "At first, I was like, 'All right, I thought this party was going to be an indoor mansion with a lot of lights and chandeliers like you see in back.' Turns out, it's outside, and it's actually, I think, 11 degrees Celsius, so I'm just hanging out with my boxers on and everyone sees ... I have great legs. But it's very fun to play Magnus Bane, as you can see." (For reference, the temperature in Fahrenheit is just over 50 degrees.) But the chill wasn't Gao's main concern. As he told our own Josh Horowitz, the actor understands the great responsibility he's undertaken portraying the fan-favorite character from Cassandra Clare's series about the secret world of the demon-destroying Shadowhunters. "There's actually a really big pressure because I know there are a lot of fans out there, and everyone loves Magnus Bane, and I love Magnus Bane," he said. "So I just wanted to play a sort of cool-looking Magnus Bane, but I also wanted to bring out the flamboyant side. The party side of Magnus Bane, so hopefully everybody can enjoy what I bring to you on screen." And for those who can't get enough of the warlock, Clare revealed that an extra Magnus scene was written into the screenplay that didn't originally appear in the book. "It is really cool," Gao said of the bonus moment. "This whole ride has been amazing. I really got to thank everybody... This is my first English feature. I'm actually pretty nervous doing this interview now. I never do any interviews in English, it was always in Mandarin before."

MTV Exclusive: Lily Collins aka Clary Fray Was Drawn To The 'Mortal Instruments' Story

Lily on what drew her to The Mortal Instruments: “I love the stories. I love Clary because she’s this heroine who’s this normal girl, who finds out she has these powers,” the actress told MTV News during a recent visit to the Toronto-based set. “The emotion is there. It’s not just a CGI world. It’s not just a translation of a book. It’s more emotionally, character-based than just aesthetically beautiful.”

Lily on her character: “I love Clary. I love this series,” she enthused. “I’m so ready. I’m so ready to be a Shadowhunter a little more since I’ve only gotten a taste of it in this film.”

Jamie Campbell Bower (Jace) on Lily: “To get to watch Lily do something — that’s really amazing,” he said. “There have been times I’ve been in a scene with Lily, and she’s doing something, and I just zone out, being like ‘God, you’re brilliant. Oh wait! I’m actually meant to be saying something.’ I’m like, ‘Oh, crikey! There’s words at this point.”

Robert Sheehan (Simon) on Lily: “She’s an absolute star and incredible, on-the-moment brilliant actor and consummate professional,” said Robert Sheehan, who plays Clary’s best friend Simon. “It’s lovely to have someone like that for the really emotional, dramatic stuff. That’s what really makes the film, first and foremost, a human story. Because if it’s not that, it’s not really relatable or interesting.”
